This is Artiphon’s companion app for Orba 2, Orba 3, and Chorda that lets you:
• Connect your Orba 2, Orba 3, and Chorda wirelessly using MIDI over Bluetooth
• Explore and play hundreds of new sounds, as well as change keys, and tunings
• Record entire songs and loops with Drum, Bass, Chord, and Lead parts
• Create your own instruments and sample any sound in the world
• Customize your sounds by adjusting individual part volume, add reverb and delay, and more
• Perfect your song by adding Quantize, which snaps your musical phrases to the beat so that every moment fits perfectly into the groove.
The Artiphon Connect app allows you to choose between over a hundred new audio-based presets. Including sounds inspired by genres like Trap, RnB, Electro-pop, Lofi, and more. With Artiphon Connect, you can now play instruments like electric guitars and upright pianos, as well as more adventurous sounds like vocals, found sounds, and custom artist songs. Imagine conducting an orchestra in the park with no strings attached and no screens required.
We’re also pleased to be enhancing our Drum sampling feature, which lets you sample your world and now supports up to 12 custom samples. Build your own drum kit and add custom samples to individual pads. And you’re not limited to drum sounds, by the way: you can turn your Artiphon instrument into your own sound effects board and DJ kit. This feature has been highly requested, so we expect some crazy creative setups from all of you!
You’ll also use your Artiphon Connect app to explore the new quantize feature, which snaps your musical phrases to the beat so that every moment fits perfectly into the groove. In addition, you’ll be able to mix the volume of your individual parts, add reverb and delay, and more.
This app is only compatible with Orba 2, Orba 3, and Chorda by Artiphon. If you are looking for the Orba 1 app, search for “Orba 1” in the app store.

- Orba 3 Compatibility: Seamless integration with Orba 3.
- Custom Sound Saving: Save sampled Sounds in the app for each part. You’ll be prompted to name and save your new Sound permanently.
- Mic Sensitivity Selector: Adjust the Orba 3 mic sensitivity for optimal settings in both noisy and quiet environments.
- Enhanced Navigation: Based on user feedback, we’ve restructured the layout. You’ll find a new "Library" tab, where you can access Songs and Sound Packs. Sound Packs contain four Sounds that complement each other, while Songs are your original compositions.
- Updated Iconography: Icons now match those on the Orba 3 playing surface for a more cohesive experience.

We’re excited to introduce a highly requested feature in this update, along with new sounds and improvements!
New Features:
New Select Your Scale feature adds the option to select from Chromatic, Diatonic, or Pentatonic scales for Bass, Chord, and Lead modes, so you can have more musical flexibility!
This feature can be accessed from the part settings menu in the PLAY tab with firmware version 1.3.1+.
The Cyberpunk collection brings the nostalgic glow of the past with Synthwave inspired sounds. Complete with the shimmer and warmth of lush analog synths, Cyberpunk is your key to creating retro-futuristic soundscapes.

Change key and quantize settings in the app, and your edits will persist even if you disconnect or turn off your instrument. Previously, this would reset whenever you disconnected. Your band members will thank you for playing in tune and on time.
We’ve also made it easier to download new Songs and presets by showing an accurate progress bar. We’ve been putting out lots of great new presets, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve got the latest (check out Halo and Toybox, two of our recent favs).
Lastly, Chorda and Orba 2 will stay connected to the app, even if it’s running in the background. This means you can toggle between apps (like GarageBand or FL Studio Mobile), which is super important for on-the-go production.
This update also includes several bug fixes and other improvements.

Welcome to Artiphon Connect for Chorda and Orba 2. With one app for both instruments, you can share Songs, sounds, settings, and Presets between the different instruments, as well as update firmware and access advanced features.
This update brings improvements including increased app stability, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
This update also adds support for up to 12 custom samples for Drum sampling, so you can create or import even more sounds and create music with the world around you!
